ok...so the two blogs are a lot of work. new year...perhaps time for a merger. maybe instead of view from home and polka dots & lined paper...we'll do view of polka dots or polka house or polka dotted house. would it be dotted or dot house? not sure. anyway. the boys are playing super mario galaxy on the wii (and by boys i mean mike and mich). the little boy is pulling apart his diaper bin (the clean one). gomey is probably off licking himself or biting his own nails.

anyway, working on my corpus christi album from 2006! finally!!! using my new dreamkuts (wonderful little gift from my mil) and some hambly clear overlays. should be fun. still working on the cover though. later kids!

i wasn't thinking peach-y when i looked at this picture (because of the boys) but, once i started digging, the Basic Grey Recess line was right next to the Scenic Route...and it just worked. throw in a little Daisy D's and some PDLP photo labels...and voila!

oooh, and i really need one of those Pebbles, Inc. ribbon irons, don'tcha think?

all of the pages will be added each month to the Heidi Swapp 9x9 Calendar. hmmm...guess i'll have to decorate the actual calendar part, too, since they are completely blank!

Green is my fave, too! So i went with that color, of course, and i had the perfect pics for it...michael's little green crocs i bought him this summer. perhaps i overdid it a bit, but i was really having fun with this one.

we went to visit his grandma in nc back in june and his two cousins each had a pair. the two of them were ready right away whenever it was time to go outside and mich always got stuck putting his socks and shoes on. so, when we got home, i bought him a pair and he wants to wear them now even though it's cold outside. i call them his 'go-everywheres' and i'm really trying to refrain from buying a pair b/c i thought jelly shoes were cool back in the day, too.

if i do say so myself...made these little cuties for my boy pages. they're 1 inch circles in boy colors with stars, arrows, robots, lightning bolts, and rockets. how much more boy could you get? i'll work on using them on some pages tomorrow! can't wait!

my take on Jamey's super sweet vintage-y layout...mine is certainly not vintage: i stuck with the page structure more than the style, i guess you could say. whatever. this was a fun one and the first scrapbook page i've done in about 4 months.

before owen was born, our family vacation was to go to corpus for a long weekend and hang out on the lexington. mich loves the planes on there and wants to fly the f-14 when he grows up. i just tell him to study hard and eat his carrots. but not the f-14, b/c they don't use them anymore. sorry, mich! but he also wants to be a nascar driver and a football player...at the same time. what am i supposed to say to that? i just tell him he's going to be a very busy man! tfl!

i just love those little dots. so perfect sitting there on the paper. michael used to help me vacuum the store in the mornings when he'd come to work with me.

so cute! and he really did a good job. he'd vacuum the same spot over and over again, just like you're supposed to!

yipes! a two-pager! when was the last time anyone has seen one of these in the internet? i like them. and most of my one pagers hold this many photos and they look like doo. perhaps this one does as well. but i like the pics. it was when our washer broke and we had to wash clothes in town. this was about only about two months before we found out owen was going to join our family.

does anyone ever read the safety instructions? i mean, if you're crashing to the ground, do you think they're really going to help? and if you just need to get off the plane quickly while you're already on the ground, i think i can figure it out.

made these 6x8 canvases:

wish the template i used was larger though, so that way the three pieces could all be 'connected' if you know what i mean. used some cheap-o 6x8's that were half off at the hob-lob then used some MM paints and the new Crafter's Workshop doodling template which was so kindly donated to my cause by Jana. thanks, girl! put it on my tab?
